As I walked to the bus stop this afternoon I saw an Australian Airlines 767-300 fly low overhead, descending towards Sydney Airport. I can find no scheduled flight for that time of day, so I wonder if the plane was arriving for maintenance, or to be repainted. I will miss the Australian Airlines colour scheme of orange, black and white. I have models of all three Qantas subsidiaries, including Jetstar and the latter's orange, black and silver is not as attractive.
I never appreciated the reborn Australian Airlines until I had a chance to fly with them . Then they decide to disappear again. So long!
