B and I caught the train and the bus down to Bondi Beach today to view the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition. The sculptures, by many different artists, are placed around the coastal walk between Bondi and Tamarama beaches. I've added our photos of the sculptures to the website. They range from abstract to the quirky and everything in between. As we did not buy the guide and the statues were unlabelled, the meaning of the sculptures was free for us to interpret, which is, perhaps, how it should be.
It was a perfect day for a walk along the coast, the sculptures framed against a cloudless blue sky and flat sea, the air warm, but not too hot. Wonderful to get out of the house and to enjoy some time together.
